Yes, it is water safe! However, to keep your jewelry as good as new, we highly recommend against it. This will preserve it's shine, radiance, and color.

Constant fragrance, lotion, and water exposure can cause all metals including 14KT Gold Vermeil & 18KT Gold Vermeil to eventually lose color. If you do your best to keep it away from all these, your gold vermeil will be very very good to you. It will remain as new as the first day you received it, even after months and years.

A little light in coloring which makes it look like maybe 18k gold vs 14k but this is my second bracelet from here and I have not taken off the first one in over 2 months with NO color change. VERY impressed!
